Thank you for supporting the Tufts Alumni Association’s Crowdfunding project last year! Your gift went directly toward a scholarship for a deserving Jumbo student who is the first in their family to attend college. You can help support the scholarship again this year.

Wow, we did it!!! 254 alumni stepped up and said “we support you!” to a first generation college student at Tufts. With the $5,000 match from the Alumni Council, we now have a scholarship of $21,721 THANK YOU! And, I have exciting news to share—we can unlock additional money with one more challenge. For every additional 50 people who contribute to this campaign, the Alumni Council will contribute an additional $1,000! Help us by emailing five friends and posting to your social media.Less than 24 hours left, let’s do this!

We’re in our final push! With two days left, we need just 41 more donors to activate this second annual scholarship and the $5,000 match from the Alumni Council. We’ve already raised over $13,500 from 209 alumni, which is incredible and will go directly to to a first generation college student at Tufts. Investing in a first generation student is an investment in access, perspective, and leadership. Please join me and help get out the word in these last 48 hours. Call, email, and tweet your friends. At Back to the Hill -- the young alumni weekend at Tufts -- 45 people made a gift to support this effort! Their contributions highlight that every gift really is Jumbo; a gift in any amount truly helps us get closer to our goal. It's halfway through the month and we're already at 39% towards our participation goal of 250 donors. As a volunteer serving on the Alumni Council, this is my favorite fundraising effort to support each year because your gift goes 100% to a scholarship for a first generation student, which is exactly who I'm excited to support.
