Hello Everyone,
We did it! The team is so excited and grateful for all your help, both through donations and spreading the word of the campaign. We smashed our goals and we’re putting that money to good use.
Your donations provided us with the funds to bring together incredible speakers from around the world. This weekend’s event will see us hosting over 300 registrants at five panels, a discussion on the midterm elections, and break out sessions spanning topics from gender-sensitive research methods to the impact of gender on technology.
This event could never have happened without you. We hope to see you at the event, but if not, know that we’re thinking of you and all the support you gave us!

The 2018 CGIA Team
Greetings from the 2018 CGIA Team! We're spending our Monday afternoon sharing some sweet treats with our friends and colleagues and generating some buzz about the conference. We wanted to take a minute to thank you all so much for helping us meet our goals.
We are overwhelmed by the generosity that the community has shown for the Gender Conference.Thanks to all of you, we surpassed our goal of $3,500 within 9 days!
While we've met our goal, we're not done yet. We'd like to expand our goal to $5,000. This money will allow us to ensure that we can cover more of our amazing speakers' costs and create an incredible event this year. We are so excited to bring interesting, challenging, and important conversations about gender and identity to the forefront of the community.
Once again, the 2018 CGIA team would like to express our appreciation to all those who have donated, forwarded our emails, shared our posts on social media, or provided us with advice and support in a myriad of ways.
Food brings people together. Help foster that sense of community and provide students an opportunity to network by providing lunch and coffee break refreshments for guests and panelists.
