We will be playing in the Division 1 Collegiate Volleyball National Championship in Denver, Colorado from April 17-20, and we need your help!
Though we receive funding from Tufts for local tournament travel, the trip to compete nationally in Denver is an expensive endeavor. The majority of the cost to compete at the Collegiate Nationals falls on the players themselves. However, our goal is to make Nationals an accessible opportunity for all members of our team. All the funds we raise here will help cover flights, hotels, tournament fees, meals, and other travel expenses. Your contribution will help send us to the National Championship!
Past and Current Success:
Tufts Men's Volleyball team has flown to great heights recently. After winning the Division II Championship in 2014, the team opted to move up into Division I. Despite moving up a division, Tufts has remained one of New England's most dominant teams. At the Regional Tournament, Tufts finished 3rd place in 2016, 2017, and 2018. We are hoping to improve on this performance at the 2019 regional tournament coming up on April 6th & 7th.
Last Year at Nationals:
As our team has continued to improve over the years, we've sought out the National Tournament to compete at an even higher level. At Nationals last year, Tufts performed well, handily beating Brown and University of Miami to advance to the gold bracket before eventually losing in the gold bracket playoffs. We hope to improve on this performance and to again challenge ourselves on the National stage.
