The Fletcher Students of Color and Allies (FSCA) are excited and proud to host the second-annual "Decolonizing International Relations" conference on October 25th, 2019 at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy! The 2019 Conference aims to expand on last year's discussions and seeks to uncover how theory is turned into action by engaging with the themes of, "Law, Development, and Resistance."
As students of international relations, we recognize the need to incorporate diverse perspectives into currently existing dialogues around foreign affairs. By hosting this conference, we want to make space for non-traditional perspectives to be heard, recognized, and challenged - a valuable process necessary for all future policymakers. This conference will bring together academics, scholars, practitioners, and students of different backgrounds to discuss issues that impact international relations and introduce perspectives that are often understudied within this field.
Your generous contribution will allow us to invite leading guest speakers from around the world, create collaborative and interactive workshops, and provide quality logistical services.
Your support will make this event a success!

Now, almost two decades into the 21st Century, a new era will require new ideas. The Fletcher School is an institution that receives students and researchers from all over the world. It is essential that we at Fletcher, lead the way, not only in policy discussion and development, but in educating the next generation of global professionals. It is our strong belief that the Decolonizing International Relations Conference contributes to these goals as a fully student-lead initiative that challenges current academia to be conscious and inclusive of diverse perspectives.
