What is the Senior Class Gift?
Our project is a campaign that aims to inspire the Class of 2017 to make their impact on Tufts via contributions to the Tufts Fund for Arts, Sciences, and Engineering. This fund is a major contributor to financial aid at Tufts. With nearly 40% of our student population receiving some form of financial aid, we feel strongly that the biggest impact to be made is making Tufts more affordable. If you choose to give toward financial aid, 100% of that gift goes toward financial aid - back to students. It's students helping students.
We want the Class of 2017 to look back and see the tangible changes they've made in the lives of the students that came after them - so let's work together to make the Tufts experience accessible for students of today, like us, and the future Jumbos to come!
How will your gift make an impact?
Aside from financial aid, funds raised from the Senior Class Gift also go toward improving the Tufts community by financially supporting the initiatives that have shaped our experience at Tufts - from club sports, to BEATS, to pre-orientations programs. Without Senior Gifts from years past we may not have had these amazing experiences. It's now our time to do the same for the next generation.
If you feel strongly that a certain organization has made a formative impact on your Tufts experience, you can choose to contribute directly toward that group in the designated "other" field.
All areas relevant to student life at Tufts, including financial aid, athletics, and the arts receive backing from student donors, so let's continue to make the Tufts experience as vibrant as possible!
Raising even more money with challenge donors!
The more of our classmates that participate in class gift campaign, the more challenge donor money will be unlocked to go toward financial aid. For the first 100 senior donations, our challenge donors will give $1000 to financial aid. Once we reach 200 senior donations, our challenge donors will give an additional $2000 and so on.. Our generous donors have agreed to donate up to $15,000 worth of challenge money, so let's not let them down!
Every little bit counts! Any donation made to the Senior Class Gift will help to make the Tufts experience more accessible to students on campus.

The Packard Society is a community of distinguished alumni, parents, and friends who have a passion for Tufts and play a leadership role in supporting the university with their annual gifts to the Tufts Fund for Arts, Sciences, and Engineering. As a student you are eligible to join the Packard Society at a donation level of just $25!
