Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Tufts SWE crowdfunding campaign! All 16 Tufts SWE members were fully funded to attend the national conference in Austin, TX this past week. We were able to attend amazing talks such as "Be a Boss Barbie- How to be 'Aggressively Nice' in the Workplace" as well as be interviewed by companies such as Lockheed Martin and Honeywell. We are grateful that we have so many wonderful people who support us!
Tufts Society of Women Engineers
I’m Megan Tse. I’m a senior majoring in Biomedical Engineering and the co-vice president of Tufts SWE. In addition, I’m also involved as one of the presidents of the Biomedical Engineering Society and the Recording Secretary of Tau Beta Pi. I volunteer to tutor through the Leonard Carmichael Society at Tufts. I’m excited for the National Conference because I can’t wait to meet other female engineers from across the nation. I’m also excited for all the opportunities provided by conference, such as the career fair and the various sessions. I was inspired by the keynote speaker last year so I’m looking forward to hearing the keynote speakers this year and the experiences they’ll have to share with the rest of us aspiring female engineers.
